About the Piece

Op. 3 Elements String Quartet Mvt. 3 Darkness is but one of the elements of the foundation of the world. Darkness is omnipresent, and the only thing that can drive it away is light. It is a cold, dark void, empty from the warmth of life and fire. It pulses through every good person's soul, constantly tugging at their heart to do evil. Darkness cannot speak or act, it just is, and will forever be. In this movement, I have put together all the emotions Darkness cannot speak for itself.
